Try 'Ctrl+mouse' if on a laptop! You change the screen yourself. It will alter the font size accordingly. Tongue

Is it just me, or has the "Entertainment & Arts" section been removed from the BBC News website?

Almost looks like they've just hard-coded the menu name change. The stories are still categorised as Entertainment & Arts.

Pardon my ignorance. For the layman and in simple terms, what is hard-coding? Sorry to ask.

Hard code is a permanent link that doesn't change.

For example:

If you build a webpage and have an image of Fred the Dinosaur in a folder called images.
If you then insert that picture as a link in the code, it can be either relative or hard.

so something like <img src="images/fred.jpg"> would be relative.
Something like <img src="http://fredthedinosaur.com/images/fred.jpg"> is hard.  So if they reorganised fredthedinosaur.com and moved the image folder, that would not work, because it's hard coded to that file and that location.

App still calls it Entertainment & Arts. You'd think the app and the website would be consistent with each other...

It’s the BBC… nothing is consistent
