I think the big issue for ITV and CBBC should plans to close that go through is even as viewers habits change it's linear TV which is often the biggest advertiser of the online content, even if they effectively become lossleaders.
I would have thought that if CBBC does close that they'll still put some of their programmes on BBC Two. Not having any children's content on free to air TV will not be a very popular or wise thing. Especially for flagship brands like Blue Peter
