The HQ doesn't look that different from the previous look - feels more like a slight redesign than a complete overhaul.

Really quite impressed with these so far. Initial impressions with the logo reveal last week left me feeling… hmmm, well. But this morning, I can see really clever, well-considered use of the blocks actually meaning something. The blocks themselves are playful in the way they animate, and like the original yellow and green CBeebies and CBBC blobs, they are consistent and CBBC seems like a good progression of CBeebies. There’s definitely some cohesion here.
Having said all that, nothing beats 1992s ChILDrEn’S logo - that is unbeatable!!

They put in more effort with the rebrand than I expected considering they intend to close the channel.

7:32am junction out of Dennis and Gnasher and into Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese (which is a fun little show). Plus another bumper and another ident. Apologies for the slight hiccup during Hacker's segment, not that that's what we're looking at.

I’m ready liking these so far. I also like that the DOGs are not coloured, but another strange BBC anomaly, as these DOGs are stacked, and I'm quite sure BBC THREE and FOUR would look so much better if their DOGs were stacked also instead of a small BBC DOG and then massive THREE/FOUR beside it. I hope they update them all to match the new CBBC/CBeebies logos.

CBeebies Twitter updated with the new logo, nothing for CBBC yet. The websites are also still using the old logos.

The clock being beside the CBeebies logo makes sense but not sure why it’s down in the bottom corner for CBBC, why not just put it in the same place as CBeebies, or better still, just do away with the clock. Is it ready needed in this day and age?

The iconic yellow blobs meet the BBC blocks - very creative.

I may be a few decades outside of their target audience so I wouldn't expect my opinion would count for much in their market research, but I have to say, on first viewing, I like it.

As a parent who has CBeebies on most mornings, the clock is very handy for me.

The rebrand? I’m not a fan of generics presentation and everything about the BBC Children’s rebrand is just that. It’s very odd to see the CBeebies and CBBC on screen logos in greyscale since both have been coloured (minus the BBC logo) since their launch in 2002.

It’s a shame that the 2002 CBeebies logo couldn’t survive the Chameleon rebrand but do appreciate the way the new one animates, not sure I see the reason why it (and any BBC digital channel except Scotland and Alba) need to disappear during trails and re-appear during shows though.

Couldn't grab the junction out of Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese, but here's the new "LIVE" bug during Newsround:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 8:08 junction out of Ninja Express, including what I guess is the 'generic' or main bumper animation, and some really poor graphics during HQ whose sheer awfulness would singlehandedly relaunch The Gallery. I cut it off a bit early in error, so we only just get to see the "NEW" bug animate in as Danny and Mick starts.

Oh yeah the clock on screen is essential in the mornings. Although not when you've forgotten you paused or rewound the telly and then realise you're late for school.

We don't have Cbeebies on much these days but at one point it was in continually. These are a nice refresh, I'm sure some kids and parents will miss the familiar stings and things but others will think it a nice change.

That said they just showed their 'everyone's welcome' promo with what I assume are a couple of re-filmed studio bits which had square blobs and looked a bit cleaner. Still old blob badges on the kids in one shot though, they'll take a while to filter out, they're everywhere in Cbeebies including the bedtime stories

The way the square blobs morph into the iplayer logo is lovely, those animations are my favourite bit of the rebrand on the main channels
