My two cents...
In general - Nice to see the Beeb's trend of abstract centre objects/symbols continued, especially for one that might be closing in a few years' time. Much better effort than pasting the new branding system onto old live action footages!
On CBeebies - Not that fond of the Blobs becoming the Blocks (if you can call them that way): the fluidity of old is missing a bit IMO, but I understand why they'd want to do that. The wordmark has a bit of the playfulness in the original logo, but hey, at least it aligns better now (plus a new Reith variant - Reith Sans Rounded Ultra Bold, anyone?) Wonder how would BBC Radio CBeebies on Sounds be updated? Wordmark only, or to be represented by the new Blocks?
On CBBC - Like others are saying, the three 'posts' suit the Tricon-era BBC II! more, but what if there's four of them, matching the letters in the brand? There might be more on-screen clutter, for sure. The clock's position is a bit random and unclear TBH - maybe a more standard layout like BBC News' would be more readable?
