As long as they don't rename the platforms (they won't according to the press release), that's all good. Digital UK wasn't really a very meaningful name anymore now that everything is digital by default.

Yeah, the new name is about promoting the fact that TV should be for all, not just those who can afford to pay for Sky, cable providers, and streaming services. That's the purpose of Freeview and Freesat, the Everyone TV name reflects that mission.

The clue was already there in the names
FREEview and
FREEsat.
Everyone TV just sounds like a community service channel with low viewing figures.

Only people in the industry, the aerial trade and people like us will be interested in the rebranding of the company. Freesat and Freeview continue to be the retail focused brands.

According to a516 on Twitter, ITVBe is moving to PSB2/D3&4 from COM4/SDN. This change does not effect the Channel Islands, where ITVBe is already on there in place of ITV1+1.
Edit: This is PSB2/D3&4 from Moel-y-Parc according to DigitalBitrate. Considering E4+1 was recently removed from the mux in Wales, I wouldn't be surprised if this is using the capacity left over by that.

Arqiva are now testing the new, permanent Bilsdale mast. Possibility of some small service interruptions as transmissions are switched back and forth between the new, and temporary, towers.

Apparently there's no sign of FM or DAB infrastructure on the mast yet, so they're prioritising Freeview, understandably.

Anyone who's got a Manhattan T3-R and T3 can update to a new software version. I assumed there wouldn't be another one as it's been two years since the last and there's nothing really in it for a small company to update old software, but good on them for keeping it going. Looks like they've got a new set of boxes coming this summer.
The update means ITVX will work from the 27th plus quite a lot of bugs fixed.
