Sky have now revealed their full coverage plans - including an outline of their schedule on Coronation day:
Quote:6am Kay Burley live from Westminster Abbey as the troops who will be taking part in the Coronation start to take up their positions in Central London. This is followed by the doors to Westminster Abbey opening and the procession taking place from Buckingham Palace.
9am Anna Botting live from Buckingham Palace taking viewers through the build-up to the Coronation including the King’s procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.
All day Sky News royal event commentator Alastair Bruce will provide expert analysis throughout the day’s proceedings, including the Coronation service from 11am and the procession back to Buckingham Palace which begins around 1pm.
Sarah-Jane Mee and Kamali Melbourne will be reporting from the crowds in The Mall and other key locations around London throughout the day.
Early afternoon Live coverage from Buckingham Palace as the Royal Family gather on the balcony and the fly-past takes place to mark the Coronation of the King and Queen Consort.
5pm-8pm Mark Austin reflects on the day’s proceedings live from Buckingham Palace.
8pm-9pm Gillian Joseph looks back at highlights of the Coronation and how it was marked around the UK, live from Buckingham Palace.
9pm-10pm A special Coronation highlights hour narrated by Jonathan Samuels.
10pm News at Ten presented by Gillian Joseph live from Buckingham Palace, including the evening’s paper review.
