I think it would look really bad if they didn’t show it given that it’s been broadcast in most other European countries and Ireland is on much better terms with the UK then in the past despite Brexit. They’ve also broadcast Royal Weddings and Funerals in the past including Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral last year which Ray Kennedy also hosted.

It is a once in a lifetime event and whatever the political history between the UK and ROI RTE as the state broadcaster would be remiss in not showing it.

Well.. Once in a lifetime for Charles, we will see another coronation in around 20 years at a guess.
