I suspect resource has been pulled from it and moved elsewhere.

The ‘drivetime’ presenters salary presumably .

The pace of First Edition is way too slow and splitting up the paper review into two segments split by an interview didn't work for me.

The lack of lives and Kate McCann having to come into the studio to discuss her interview with the Ukrainian Ambassador seems to show that resources have been cut.

TalkRadio listeners should have the 10-11pm slot for a phone-in related programme instead of this.

Her Twitter Bio also mentions First Edition?

It's not a surprise, the output is as dull if not worse than it was last Friday.

GB News owns the 'culture wars' market and proves once again there's only a tiny bit of room for that type of editorial.

I must say I do enjoy TalkTV and it’s programming, it is something different, but they axed their only USP, live overnight programming that isn’t rolling news or a shopping channel, I am not sure where they are going to go from here if ratings don’t improve soon. Can’t knock them for trying to keep it afloat.

It was the very first day of the refresh, so I don't think we can read too much into these figures IMO.

Hardly a refresh. The 7pm show is exactly what JK was doing when he covered for Piers, 8-10 are the same failing shows which simply don't work, while 10-11 continues to show a low share for a programme on a channel where the target demo expect culture wars rather than impartial news and yet another newspaper review.

I think we CAN read into the figures that- excluding a miracle- the low figures of the last six months will continue
