They both want the coveted '604' slot. Currently GB News is at 626 with Talk TV at 627. 604 would put them between Sky News & BBC Parliament.

Several technical difficulties towards the start of tonight's James Whale Show. Didn't catch the start of the programme, but they showed trailers for around 10 mins with the straps continuing along the bottom, before going to the adverts. Then returned to the transmission without vision, then some static images with vocal audio.
Seems to be back to normal now.

As anticipated when she left Radio 2 and given her appearances on Talk TV, seems Vanessa may be getting her own show.

Popbitch also had this in their newsletter a couple of weeks ago. Wouldn’t be surprised if she took over Kyle’s drive slot (or at least a portion of it) as he’s now getting his own primetime show.

Beyond me why they signed Kyle in the first place. It does seem that bar some major shakeup GB News seem to be winning here, surely they can't both keep going long term

It seems a waste to even fire up the special Piers studio for such low numbers.
Given that the Kyle show does not appear to be being broadcast by the international partners (after the news release said it would be but it's not in the Sky News Australia schedule), they may as well just have shown Piers best bits.

Or replace it with a radio phone-in from 8-10 as The Talk isn't exactly doing the numbers either.

How many viewers does The James Whale Show get Thurs-Sat? It certainly seems more entertaining & controversial than the made for TV shows earlier in the evening. He often says his Saturday show is smashing the ratings. It deserves to do well.
