Has he done anything on YouTube yet?

I believe Mike Graham's show has now replaced Piers.

The new-look 'Prime Time with Rosanna Lockwood' is reusing the theme tune to 'First Edition with Tom Newton-Dunn' or a very similar variation of it.

Ian Collins uses the old The New Desk theme song as well.

Could this just be a way for them to get around OfCom impartiality rules? They could have looked at their demographics and saw little were on TV compared to more on streaming.

So, in effect, a return to the former model?

Not really.

The Ofcom rules will apply to the radio service, which remains linear and will be the backbone of the online service.

They can of course publish content that's NOT broadcast on the radio channel, and that would be outside of current regulations

If they're still simulcasting on the radio station, then they'll still have to abide by Ofcom's broadcasting rules.

What are the local TV channels that spend 27hrs a day simulcasting Talk TV going to show now if talk TV is no longer on the TV?

They might have to make some content of their own! :o Though I suspect they'll just simulcast somebody else.

It's not a bad idea really, as it will decrease the money spent on the channel in an instant.

It does however mean some of the programming changes made at the end of last year are a bit pointless. TalkToday looks great on screen but isn't much to listen to on the radio. Plus Mike Graham will now be a bit redundant in the 8pm slot. Both Mike & JHB would be better use to a 'radio first' station in their old slots.
