Talk TV

Guido is usually pretty well connected. Although this all seems a little strange given the relaunched breakfast only took place at the start of the week? Surely they’d give it more time or just not bothered doing it!

Why would it be decided in that man’s office anyway? He is not in charge.

The recent scandals at GB News may have been the catalyst for News UK to review the channel's output again, despite a revamped schedule that only launched on Monday.

It's nothing to do with the future of the channel, its a presenter fiasco.

Considering he's the Director of Audio at News Broadcasting, I'd say he's pretty much in charge.

It pays to do your research, sir.

I doubt it's an official meeting over the future of TalkTV. Based off this, I think Guido are suggesting that it'll be all but over for the channel if said presenter leaves (no idea who it could be).

Richard Wallace is in charge of TalkTV reporting to Scott Taunton who reports to Rebekah Brooks. Dennie oversees audio at News UK.

Well then considering the conversations are happening with Dennie, it must be someone from the radio side of Talk…. Presumably Julia or Mike? I cannot imagine anyone else is of much interested to GB News.

Although Talk is still a radio station and has a much, much bigger audience on radio than TV so Dennie would have direct involvement in the output.

The i seems to think Hartley-Brewer or Graham could be off - so presumably this is their people making it known publicly they’re thinking of leaving to strengthen their hand in any counter-offer from News UK:

They don't really have any "top TV presenters" though other than Piers - and I'm sure they'd love to get his salary off the books.
