I guess they feel any rebrand, for a dying genre on the telly such as music channels, would be pretty useless

Silly question but which way round would the money be going to use the Bauer brands - BOX paying a fee to use their brands or Bauer paying to have their brands attached to the channels?
I presume an initial period was built in to the transaction when C4 bought Bauer out, but any susequent renewal would be C4 paying Bauer for usage of their brand/IP.

Wasn't there something at the initial stages of the rebrand stating that the music channels were all being brought under the Channel 4 brand? Maybe they will rebrand at some point to 4 Rock / 4 Pop etc.?

I remember seeing such things rumoured/discussed but I don't think I ever saw a visual.

The wording of the press release said "Channel 4’s entire portfolio of channels will also align with the ‘Channel 4’ brand" but we weren't sure exactly what that meant. Either they will all get similar looks or names, or both, who knows?

E4 has finally removed the HD part of the DOG, not sure about 4Seven and More4 yet as they’re still on teleshopping.

Apologies for the double post, but just checked and 4Seven and More4 have also removed the “HD” from their DOGs.

I'm actually getting quite frustrated by C4's presentation - I thought there was so much potential with the cube idea and the logo moving through scenes but it generally ends up just being big blocks of colour swiping on screen and a fairly static logo in use, and things like the ECPs and programme menus seem to be mainly in 2D. It feels like the package is only running at arond of 10% of it's potential.
