Amazon Prime Video
#61

I don’t watch a great deal on Prime Video, but watching The Grand Tour - Sand Job, this evening was the first time I’ve watched the platform since the introduction of advertising and I note other than an actual advert at the start, there was then an advert for Mini bragging that their advert meant there’ll be no other adverts for the programme, which is correct but oddly ironic.

Don't think this has been mentioned yet - but Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos have been made exclusive to the more expensive, ad-free tier. Not available with the default, ad-supported tier. This change happened with no notice.

And after lots of complaints and criticism about the new interface, Prime Video is now rolling out a tweaked interface, with categories and subscriptions being now easier to access, and more transparent distinction between Prime Video content and those from the channels.

I think this gives me a good excuse to mention that Amazon as a whole is currently rebranding, with new logos for everything, it seems
