They seem to have moved to the GMB style of introducing the main story, and then moving to another shot for a rundown of the headlines. In this case, Sally standing at a screen to the left of the sofa.

The virtual clock looks unnatural…

No clock over Salford Quay panorama now

New Chameleon logo, with blue circle moving across the screen

The clock without seconds appears in the wide building shot now, after the first titles

Sport with a tower

Business also on a tower screen, with a modified swipe

Although the segment itself comes from the catwalk

As (predictably) does the weather

Modified swipe full screen

Wide shot of the studio, presenters interacting with Ben

Another wide shot, with guest on a couch

Seems a half baked try at doing it, the graphics on the screen she stood next too, seem a bit random on each story or Live OB presenter shes talking too

The studio looks 1000 times better than the one they've just left. Still makes me laugh though how the "view" is of the building they're sat in.

Not so sure on the graphics but they're bright and cheerful and far better than what the new strands on the news channel have had recently. And great that for the first time in years a new studio and new graphics have debuted together.

One thing I'm wondering is why they didn't use the recoloured straps? Are they planning to change at some point, or have the corporation just given birth to yet another branding inconsistency?

Set looks great, and nice to see a few tweaks to the format to take advantage of the extra space and different presentation positions. Still some familiarity with the sofa shots, but with a big upgrade on the background.

Wasn't so keen on that opening graphic with the the blue circle moving across the screen, though. But overall, looks really good so far.
