Back in 1997, a lot of programmes whose TX dates were known in advance actually switched logos halfway through a series to coincide with the change. But then, that is what you get with MLN.
BBC wise this was barely an issue in 1998 so it shouldn't be an issue two years on from a 2021 rebrand.
Plus, at least two BBC regional news programmes reedited their titles to include the new logo for Saturday 4th October, despite having rebrands planned for the following Monday. And that isn't as simple as changing a template, as it would be today. That would have involved going back to years-old physical mastertapes, purely for two or three weekend bulletins.
