So it seems that Thane supplied products to be sold from IW directly or had teleshopping type of slots on the channel. Usually stuff that is shown overnight because that is how I remember Thane products being sold a few years back and not just on IW but a multitude of channels with the informercials.

Doesn't make much sense for them to be issuing a winding up order against Ideal World if it's to do with infomercials.
With Infomercials the channel is the supplier (of airtime) and they bill a vendor for that time - unless Thane paid in advance for services which were not rendered. Ideal World did sometimes do this in fairness, in a way at least, with cruises - the big clue being the fact the customers were pointed to a different phone number - but I'm much less sure that QVC ever did.
More likely Thane were a supplier of goods to Ideal World who then failed to pay for those goods. Possibly the goods were dispatched directly from Thane who then billed Ideal World for them (drop shipping).
