Unless there is a lot we don’t know about, there is no basis for him to be sacked.
Christ the past few days on this have been disgusting - and BBC News really need to look hard at how they’ve covered this, and are still covering it. The Sun have the biggest questions to answer, but how the BBC jumped on the bandwagon of such half baked tittle tattle has been grotesque.
The BBC go very W1A on their own scandals these days. To quote David Tennant, "In the name of impartiality, the BBC's coverage of itself must be more negative than anyone else's."
