You do wonder if it is possible to put him on a World exclusive slot when it calms down if he does want to continue on and the rest of his colleagues are happy with that.
The opinion of some about something that is perfectly legal can’t bring an employer into disrepute. An employer obviously also has a duty of care and it isn’t a stretch to imagine that they may have failed here. In particular where his struggles with depression have been known for years.
As per my previous post, this is solely based on what is already known. If he has done other things or if he did similar stuff with colleagues then it’s a different matter.
