where is MPEG2 still being used aside from freeview SD? I thought all virgin SD channels were now at least using MPEG4 since they retired the V+ boxes from the estate.

Doesn't Virgin have fair bit of excess capacity though or are they sacrificing TV bandwidth to squeeze more broadband out of the coax?
