Instead, it's new airing time is Friday 10 pm ET with a repeat (on DOmestic) three hours later for Pacific viewers.
Quote:CNN announced today that Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? will return for its third season on HBO Max and CNN on Friday, April 28. The best of the full HBO Max interviews will continue to air on CNN, beginning April 28 at 10pm ET/PT.cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com
That opens up 7pm hour on Sunday either for Newsroom or for this new Gayle King thing.
However, given that Friday has already Maher's Overtime at 11:30 pm, what they will do in the remaining half-an-hour between Wallace ending at 11pm and Maher? A bonus bulletin from CNNI? Or will they extend Wallace to 90 minute length?
lol, a "bonus bulletin" would fall on the CNNI OVN team, which already typically does SIX shows Friday into Saturday. I think there's no chance of that happening. They wouldn't want that as a lead in to Overtime.
Also, don't forget that Overtime is just a 10-ish minute segment. There can still be an entire show around it -- why not CNN Tonight like how it is now?
