I complain about it with the BBC but that’s largely because I feel that British viewers are often getting an inferior service compared to World viewers - yet we pay the licence fee! Fundamentally, I view that as totally unfair on the British viewer as well as being presentationally very sloppy.
With CNN, the opposite is true. The US viewer is the main/primary consideration, it’s a service produced by a US-based organisation; it’s therefore not surprising or unexpected that CNN Domestic “takes priority” over International. Viewers arguably wouldn’t be surprised by that.
Obviously you always avoid crashes out or in if you can, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. Using a sting, at least, is a good idea (something the BBC still don’t appear to have learnt)!
