AM: Wake Up Call was the first time in several years that CNN Domestic had its own live programming before 6am. It launched toward the end of the American Morning era after John Roberts left, followed not too long after by Kiran Chetry. Ali Velshi did Wake Up Call from the newsroom flash cam mostly solo, and then American Morning had a weird and short-lived three-anchor couch format. I believe Ali, Christine, and Carol Costello were the final not-so-official anchors.
Then they blew it all up in 2012 with Early Start from 5-7 and Starting Point from 7-9. Christine was featured heavily as a business correspondent when Early Start launched, though I don't think she was named anchor until after Zoraida Sambolin left. IIRC, I think ginnyfan is correct in that CNNI never carried Early Start until in more recent years.
