It’s actually refreshing, the terrible loss of life excepted, that CNN has returned to its roots of covering serious world events in detail.
I’m actually finding CNN’s coverage more favourable than any other outlet at this point.

Agreed, CNN has actually been watchable today. The quality of the journalism has also been excellent.

They usually get it right during these big stories. BUT.....i have to say.... IMO they were a bit flat footed. They had someone based there...but no Ben Wedeman and sadly Arwa Damon is gone. No other Senior correspondents that I can remember being on the air from the start of the conflict. They didnt have anyone live in streets persay. Fox News and NBC had reporters live. So at the beginning to me it felt they were light on the ground. But they are flooding the region now. But with CNN's international correspondents/anchors leaving in droves it could have been better early on. But they seemingly have got it together. Ehhhhh Zucker & Co. strike again.

Yeah he flew in after it started. They showed him arriving at the airport and the bombs were going off and he was ducking down with other passengers. So he flew in from London immediately after it began. But they are getting loads of assets in place to cover this. I beleive Anderson Cooper is live there as well.

I see Becky Anderson has been presenting across the various of Domestic shows including Early Start, CNN This Morning and News Central. Good to see her being used frequently.

CNNI is in more simulcasting mode today: 9-10 am was CNN News Central (which featured Clarissa Ward live taking cover during an air raid), and Isa Soares is also dropped for a simulcast.
Also, new policy on f-bombs on CNN? They seemed to keep them and not bleep them out when repeating that taking cover segment.
