They really do love having shows anchored half way across the globe from where they are supposed to be focused on!

Can CNN Today be brought back too then? Big Grin

Will be so strange to have the show about a different 'First Move' now. I hope they retool the same ad which I still have in my head to this day Big Grin:

One combined unit will serve TV, streaming and digital platforms, while a new division will explore growth opportunities, the new decisions of Mark Thompson:

It appears that since yesterday New York edition of News Central is back to its usual self, doing standing presentaion and full height video wall graphics.

Yesterday's DC edition was still confined to the desk.

Yesterday's DC edition was still confined to the desk.

Probably was due to the lack of personal during the holidays.

New UI for the schedule page is up. Looks like one combined page for US and International.

Just saw an advertisement for the "new" First Move, it mostly composed of still slideshows from that ad, as well as some montage of Chaterley's sit-down interviews.

I wonder how the new boss, Mark Thompson, will change things. He seems really into digital, so where does that leave the TV channels??

No one knows.

Also a lot of talk about combining newsrooms and operations. What will that actually look like and how will it impact CNN International?

And then IF a merger with Paramount happens, that would mean even more change…. As that would probably mean a combined CBS and CNN.

Buckle up, this could be an interesting year.
