I heard about it as well in the last few minutes. Reports are saying that he died of Cardiac Arrest while he drowned in his hot tub at home in LA.
He was also one of favourite characters in Friends.
I'm watching CNN Newsroom at the moment with Paula Newton. The female reporter had said earlier that Hollywood is reportedly going through huge grief over his death tonight while she was talking to Paula a few minutes ago.
I would assume Channel 5 in the UK will pay a small tribute on Matthew Perry's passing before Friends is aired later this morning.
That could be a very emotional watch for viewers later on this morning.
