Christmas TV

There’s a separate Christmas special which Joel referenced, which will air on Christmas Day. The promo and announcement referred to the new series, which hasn’t got a confirmed airdate yet.

Corrie and Emmerdale both half an hour each, which is a surprise. The rest of the night a good alternative to the drama heavy BBC1.

Kind of surprised they haven't used Masked Singer & 1% Club on the Saturday 23rd instead?

But that is a nice line up from ITV1.

Probably the most varied ITV1 Christmas Day for a long time especially with the shorter soap episodes. Hope it works out for them.

Yeah, Christmas is a Monday, so you'd expect Corrie at least to be it's usual hour long. Is the missing half hour on Boxing Day maybe?

It is indeed. Boxing day is:

19:00 Emmerdale
19:30 Corrie

Corrie is also having an episode on New Year's Eve (Sunday). But it's a long time since they last only had 30 mins on Christmas Day.

Really surprising both soaps are half an hour - must be 20 odd years since that happened.

I did think 1% Club would be good crashed out on the sofa Christmas night TV, though 9pm perhaps a bit early. A nice line up - and to be fair it is ITV rather than the BBC who now offer something different on the big day each year.

Wow - a decent ITV Christmas Day schedule. I don’t think anyone had that on the cards.
