Thanks for the link. I haven't heard of that site before. It looks like a great resource. It feels bizarre to see things in such good quality, especially the really early eps. I haven't seen them since back when they were aired on TV, except for some bad quality VHS recordings in YT clips.
I clicked through a few different episodes of The Big Breakfast, and some of those had clean endings too, like this one: licensing.screenocean.com
I found this one quite interesting also, as it features a little bit of setting up before the opening titles roll and the show goes live: licensing.screenocean.com
Please pardon my ignorance (loved TV production since I was a kid, but haven't taken part in TV pres communities before recently, so I'm still discovering how things actually worked!), but what exactly is the source for these videos? Straight from the master archives, I'm guessing? For some reason I didn't expect the bits that aren't being broadcast for the public to see to be kept. I thought it would just be archived as-aired. I'm assuming that these are copies of exactly was coming out of the show's production suite and being sent live to Channel 4 to jump in/out during broadcast?
It's fascinating seeing this kinda thing. 🙂
