Suprised ITV3 left in Todd saying "you bastard" in today's episode, considering they've taken the scissors to countless things more minor than that.
Edit: Also a "bitch" left in around 20 minutes later... another word ITV3 have usually consistently taken the scissors to (I'm sure those of us who were watching from the start of the ITV3 repeats can remember them, badly, dubbing "tart" over one use of it on a 1988 episode).

Interesting that Paul's radio interview talking about issues he faces as a disabled person has gone out on the same day as Sunak's disability benefit reforms were announced. There's no way they'd have known that when they filmed it, it's very fortutious timing.
And is that Corrie's first f-bomb... even if we didn't actually hear it?

It depends if you believe this or not…

There was an incident from a few years ago where Gemma apparently dropped an F bomb in front of Chesney's son Joseph.
The F bomb was masked by the meow of a startled cat in the backyard!

Coronation Street still using stock break bumpers of the police station with the EIIR insignia rather than the CIIIR that's been on the actual set for the last year or so.

Even real Police Forces or other institutions haven't changed the insignia yet.
Actually Newsnight made a faux pas a weeks ago when discussing a police report in England, but displayed a CIIIR badge incorrectly surmounted by a Scottish Crown. Ooops!

We had the fictional production company “Plaza Twelve Productions” on the show tonight, who were making a fly on the wall documentary about a prison football team
To be honest that does sound like a realistic programme that would be made and the sort of name a production company that would make it would have
I bet they used the real ITV Corrie offices to film the scenes

The entrance to the production company's offices who made that prison documentary that we saw Abi and Nina going into looks suprisingly similar to the entrance to Weatherfield hospital 🤔
