Fun fact for you since you mention it:
Good Morning Britain launched on Ed Balls Day - three years to the day (28th April 2011) since his now famous tweet.
You're welcome.

Interesting wording - "who has signed as a regular co-host on GMB"...
He'll be presenting on a Wednesday (but only some weeks)...
For the people who are questioning when they're finally going to find the new Piers, the answer seems to be - 'they don't want to' - they seem to be relishing the large team of people they rotate around Susanna - perhaps they think people like the variety of never knowing who you're going to get.

Here's how this is being reported by the Mirror . . .
Mirror.co.uk ... Good Morning Britain finally announces Piers Morgan's replacement two years after he quit

Utter rubbish from the Daily Mirror then - Permanent co host, who will present no more than about 20 days a year no doubt
I’m surprised Martin wants to get involved in GMB considering it tends to go against what he is known for - Martin is not political, offers practical advice and clears up confusion. GMB is political, offers outrage and arguments and perpetuates confusion.
Presumably he’ll stay clear of all that type of stuff and let Susanna deal with that

I couldn't find a thread for Lorraine, but thought this was worth a mention:
Lorraine's set has had a refresh this week. The kitchen's been repositioned to be the main backdrop behind guests, plus a new coffee table & video wall graphic.

It looks fine and to give Lorraine credit, they've stuck with this set essentially unchanged for 5 years now since the Daytime shows moved to TVC, which is a far cry from Lorraine's annual set/titles/music updates during the 4 years between Daybreak ending and the TVC move - so I guess after 5 years, I was expecting them to finally give in and start tinkering with things to keep it fresh

It looks grand, albeit it feels a bit smaller than what came before. It also feels a bit less sparse than what came before in those shots - a nit more in the background, which probably adds to the 'smaller' feel.
Not that her previous set-up was sparse when compared to this! If memory serves she said it felt like she been burgled on the first show in this set

I wonder if Good Morning Britain itself will get a refreshed look in any form?

Happy ninth birthday to GMB.
Funny to think that in the four years between April 2010 to April 2014, you had GMTV coming to an end, 'purple era' Daybreak, 'yellow era' Daybreak, 'Lorraine & Aled' era Daybreak, and the launch of GMB, while in the nine years since launch there have been, in real terms, very few major changes.
ITV must be pleased they've got some stability in what is an important timeslot for any station.
