Using E because of issues in B I understand, and although the screens are a big step back the desk area with a real backdrop is significantly better.
What I don't understand is why they had to use the old titles, but then BBC News cares little about branding nowadays.
P.S. A heads up for Friday but due to Glastonbury the 10 is only 20 minutes long, followed by regional news till half past. The news channel takes World News America and Newsnight airs as normal. I'm sure that has been dropped over the last few years with BBC2 running coverage through the slot, but this year they switch to BBC1 at 10.30.

Presumably because the Mosart template for E hasn't been updated to include the new version?

For an outgoing studio it’s still pretty good however that’s where bbc news Uk should be broadcasting their opts out rather then up in the balcony in front of a tv screen.

Different promos were then shown with one on Astra showing the EAT/CAT/GMT times. Both feeds then switched to Asia Business Report.
Interesting... it seems like my HD feed is from Astra and Red Bee is feeding the wrong region to Astra... It's been like that for at least a week and I'm surprised nobody at Red Bee realizes the issue...

God E looks nice. Such a superior space over B and C even after all these years. So much life and depth. It’s bizarre they chose to decamp to C for this embarrassment of a channel. They had plenty of time to spruce E up with a new catwalk, etc.

Hey, that strap looks familiar:

Wonder if that's related to the admittedly 'mobile-friendly' new lower thirds?
Watch this space...

Studio C did look nice when BBC World News used it with proper branded shows, not anymore though, the only reminder now is World Business Report and the studio changes blue. Had these new branded shows been properly executed, at least the studio would have been relit with the programme colours.

Is there a reason the 5:30am bulletin (U.K. time) isn’t branded as World Business Report? It’s just branded as a standard BBC News slot.
Would certainly make it easier for Sally or Victoria who wouldn’t have to race to the catwalk whilst the ‘titles’ run!

On the world feed it’s introduced as World Business Report just to add to the confusion.
