Deal Or No Deal

Must say from that clip shown Stephen does look to be a natural fit for it.

If it does get recommissioned I wonder if they'll keep the contestants from episode 20 because that is where a short run fails really. We know the line up in episode 1 won't all get to play, and if they do have another 20 part run and carry the contestants over chances are most new contestants won't get to play either.

The only way around that really is to dump the "random" selection of a player (i.e. chosen by producers) and introduce a qualifying round at the beginning to determine the player (as other versions did have) - that might help pad out the hour too.

Not sure if it's been played elsewhere but loved the clip played on This Morning of Stephen getting Gotcha'd by Noel. Can tell he really appreciated it (about 5 mins in on this clip).

I think I've said before Stephen is one of the few people I think a revival of House Party could work with.

Should we expect a surprise visit to the This Morning set by Jasper Carrott if Rylan gets that gig?

Does anyone know the reason why that photo has boxes with the numbers 83 and 56? I've seen it a few times before and always thought it was weird considering those numbers were never used.

Was it the text number to enter a competition?

Good point - I've seen that promotional photo too but I've never thought about it.

It's a mercy really; they already drag out the opening of 22 boxes to an hour - you'd have to take a day off to watch it if they had 83.

I doubt it because if you've opening 83 boxes you'd lose the will to live after about 20 boxes and probably decide its a good idea to hang yourself from the lighting grid...

The old 45 minute slot on Channel 4 was perfect for the show. Only two commercial breaks meaning it usually had a run time of around 38 minutes.
