I'm a big fan of Graham but felt his wit didn't get a chance to shine much in this as it was all quite manic.

He does an OK job at hosting but I would say that his status adds more to the show overall. There will be people who will tune in because he is hosting that wouldn't have done.

That's a big drop. I thought that would be the case though, up against Gladiators. I'm not sure why the general feeling has been that Gladiators would tank as it hasn't. The rating it achieved is genuinely deserved - a superb revival scheduled over a not so great revival.

A much deserved drop. Obviously stronger competition with Gladiators gettting 6m but I don't think they can blame the entire drop on that. Will be interesting to see what it gets in the officials but that's the sort of show you're probably not recording or watching on demand every week.

Wheel of Fortune deserves to drop, both episodes havent worked for me, so when iIwas able to watch Gladiators it felt so right and even if there are small issues but overall, hates down to the BBC for doing a great revivl

I'm still hoping for a recommission though... as long as they understand changes need to be made- taking hints from the show they're up against and staying more true to what came before. More straightforward questions and answers for a start.

Still interesting it's been beaten by a show presented by one of the former hosts and the son he left the show for to bring up.

WOF's seven day figures will also include today's repeat showing. Both it and Limitless Win ought to see a boost from that. And of course there's ITVX too. I'd guess it's 7 day drop won't be as steep as it's overnight one, which probably can largely be blamed on it airing at the same time as Gladiators considering how well that did.

I prefer the Spanish version, shown at lunchtime. Complete with house band, changes to the format including jokers that can be collected and played at an appropriate time, and unintelligible chants from the studio audience.

Quite a few people aren't happy that Jenny Powell isn't there... and I find myself sympathising with them. Blush Wink

(Whether or not she actually wants to do it again is another matter altogether, of course.)

They were probably in a no-win situation as if they had had someone in the role viewers would probably have been asking why they were needed when the letters clearly revealed themselves. Usually you'd also rule out the people who did the role originally but perhaps bringing back Jenny or Carol actually would have worked better than a new, probably literally younger, model.
