Perhaps if the Sony cameras are superior, they travel around with the temporary set.  It does seem a shame to spend money on the NBH-B style set and not finish the job to get the full effect.

It’s hard to tell from Spain not on the best connection in the world it didn’t look too bad the Leeds view much better then that fake newsroom backdrop they had for years on end.

I don’t think any of the nbh b style sets are in HD?

I wonder if it will be a night backdrop of Leeds for the late Look North?

The view of Leeds behind Amy seems to move, you can see trains going into Leeds Station. The view of Hull that Peter Levy has seems to be static?

On a semi related note to whether or note the Leeds studio is HD capable, I assume that now we have the BBC One North feed RedBee play out the SuperLeague Show in HD from Salford rather than Leeds playing it out?

I spy a Sony camera. So I guess the old Thomsons have gone.

I've finally checked out my recording from BBC One Yorks HD. SD is considerably better than previously, although the swirls on the tower are distracting.

The explainer/weather area is a major improvement that the previous screen, although I don't know why these regions have to use the tower for sports bulletins? It'd look a lot better from the main wall.

I assume the 'veteran kit' is in the top right pic and is the one with various buttons.

Formerly 'Charlie Wells' of TV Forum.

Yes, I think he's referring to Big Ted. Also, is CasparCG the standard graphics solution for the refurbished regions or did they have that before?
