BBC/ITV Yorkshire and Lincolnshire News

In the South West we also get a jointly branded 'Spotlight & Points West' bulletin when needs arise beforehand, and something similar for the South East/South/London regions when they do pan regional programmes.

However, during an industrial dispute I guess you just go with the region that's broadcasting with sufficient staff as there is probably nobody about to start tinkering with titles, even if the pan-regional ones are on the server.

Was there much content outside from outside the NWT region?

An unusual occurrence in the world of TV happened tonight - Calendar was presented by two men!

Only on Calendar North apparently…

Not sure who was doing Calendar South, or why there was a different presenting line-up. Anyone know?

Now the edition is on the website it all becomes clear

Lara had an interview with the man who has just been released after being wrongly convicted, who has been in the news this week. So presumably she wasn’t back in time for the pre-record, but was in time for the live edition at Six

Which edition of Calendar do Sheffield and Chesterfield fall under? Is it North, South or both?

On ITV's advertising map, Chesterfield is Calendar South with Sheffield is on the boundry of both sub-opts.

It's one of those annoying oddities where the BBC and ITV have different editorial regions where Freeview viewers in North Derbyshire lose out.

Ok, not watched Calendar (North as that's the only one I can get) in a while, but the last time I watched the north edition I could've swore they had a Chesterfield story

Is the main difference that the BBC split just between Emley Moor and Belmont, but ITV additionally have the Sheffield relay (which would have carried Calendar South back in the day) as part of the Belmont region?

I believe it was always said back in the day that the Sheffield relay gives pretty poor coverage so parts of Sheffield don’t even receive it? I don’t know if this has been tided up for those not using Freeview?
