TV Mistakes/Breakdowns

A TNT Sports issue now, during the main event of Monday Night RAW the screen kept switching to black then back again but the DOG remained on screen (I presume weather conditions across the pond or an issue with the link) at the end of the programme it did not fade out as normal it crashed to black for a few seconds before a TNT Sports promo aired. Unfortunately though it was not a big enough issue for the TNT Sports breakdown slide to make an appearance.

Talk TV have accidentally played Part 1 again of tonight’s pre recorded Jeremy Kyle, I don’t think they have noticed yet.

Edit: they have gone to a break and returned with Part 3, skipping Part 2.

They just rant about the same few subjects over and over again anyway, who'd know the difference Wink

This is part of the Heaven can Wait breakdown as seen on BBC 1 Wales, I’m guessing the pause from the announcer here before going to the filler programme was due to waiting to hear from network what was happening?

Children's BBC demonstrates the future of TV pictures in 1987 via an episode of Popeye when a faulty telecine device squashes the picture and then some more, generating thicker black bars than is probably healthy, forcing Andy Crane to fill for three long minutes:

... the minutes seem like hours, the hours go so slowly ...

With apologies to Stephen Sondheim.

Still remember this one like it happened yesterday, even more hilarious that ITV1 was calling itself "Terrestrial Channel of the Year" - oh, the irony!

It’s a shame that one cuts off before it goes live to Dermot so we could see how he took it from there. At least with the BGT one from 2018 it shows a snippet after it came back live.

I see the record player in the back there and was curious of its purpose did they actually used to play music during the continuity between programmes?
