The ECP is becoming increasingly jarring to look at on imports, Bob’s Burgers especially as the credits for it are on a white background, making the giant black space even more awkward.

The font choices and ECP are absolutely awful.

I think that's a bit over the top. The style of the font(s) chosen seem to be more up to date - and whilst it's a shame to see their previous custom font go, it's not as if they've gone with Comic Sans either. I quite like it!
The way they've done the credit squeezing is a bit odd, I will admit.

It’s fine, except the credit squeeze. I think the sans serif is pretty nice and clean but my main gripe is the serif font - it’s just too gimmicky and trend grasping for my liking.
If they tweaked it so the ECP didn’t absolutely butcher the credits if would already be a lot better. I think if they work with what they’ve got like they did with the 2006 rebrand and make tweaks to it then it’ll improve quite a bit. Not getting my hopes too high in case they don’t do anything, but it’ll be exciting to see how they’ll solve these problems.

It’s called Zagma.
f37foundry.com
But in some places it looks like a customised version of this font.

ITV Be's break bumpers with 'back soon' and 'we're back' sometimes don't even get to animate fully before crashing into the programme into into a sponsor bumper, and the little animations with the dots going into adverts sometimes split second freeze or have artefacts on them, is there something wrong with playout/timings on these?

One thing amiss is the insistence of the announcer to talk immediately, seconds before the "1" even pops up. It was fine for the previous package because of the fast cuts and the logo revealing itself much later. It doesn't help that the shot initially feels quite static too, as though they've not pressed play.
Oh and I'd loved to have known how this would have gone down in The Gallery. It's bloomin' awful.

That reminds me of when the ITV News relaunch happened in 2013 - the bongs were no longer preceded by a swoosh effect and accompanied by a transition, so for the first couple of editions the bongs were happening too quickly after the end of a headline.
You'd think this is the sort of issue that they'd be able to sort out with relative ease.

Why is there no itv1 dog on screen during the news?
