Britains Got Talent won’t air on 13th May, probably to avoid Eurovision. It’s been rescheduled for 7.40pm on the Sunday.

Not sure what’s on instead but guessing a film.
No The 1% Club is not airing either. Looks like that’s just taking a week off though rather than shifting to Sunday.

Interesting- are they finally admitting defeat? They’ve had clashes with Eurovision for donkey’s years

Last time BGT didn’t clash with Eurovision (apart from 2021 when it didn’t air) was in 2014 when a shorter episode aired from 7pm - 8pm.

Just to come back on this, now confirmed they’re showing Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom from 8pm against Eurovision.

I've seen this sort of concept done before although for the life of me can't remember the name of the act but I think had the cat been 2D animated, it'd come across better, CGI on a low budget doesn't cut it in 2023.

Noodle the Cat seems to be a pre-existing thing, they have over 6 million followers on TikTok.

Apparently there was a dog called Noodle as well who was (it says here) a "pet influencer" on TikTok, though may only have been a "thing" in the States as it was news to me.
But anyway, not surprising its a thing on social media as that's where those sort of things tend to start, so it probably went viral at some point (not that I'd have known as I don't use TikTok) and somebody decided let's take it to BGT.
But as per above, CGI and low budgets never have mixed, no end of budget dinosaur films with cheap CGI dinosaurs came out in the wake of Jurassic Park and its copious sequels, and the difference on the dinosaurs is like night and day (although in fairness they were mostly animatronics in the film)
