This was linked to on the previous page in pres.cafe .

Worth noting that the twitter thread has been updated to included what happens when Huw walks.

I'm guessing that with the 'walking' camera being automated and relying on the presenter keeping pace may be a factor in why most presenters no longer do this. Additionally, it's looks like it's a lot tighter for the London presenter to get into position, though it may help that the Ten can first show a shot of Newsnight starting before the nation/region screens.

While overall there are very troubling questions of the news channel’s choices and treatment of on air staff, the hire of Sumi Somaskanda was a terrific decision. Every time I see her on air she excels as a natural presenter and interviewer, including during breaking stories. Currently on site in Newfoundland, and her coverage is excellent.

My only complaint with her (and Carl Nassman, which is also a good presenter) is when she welcomes us to "the show" (instead of "the programme")

Anyway, best decision of BBC News Washington , post-merger Smile

Carl is very good, too.

Honestly the ‘show’ doesn’t bother me any more than ‘welcome to BBC News Now’…

How come the LIVE graphic inside the little insert looks like it was made by a two year old ? looks nothing like the proper one on the left, it seems to be missing the padding and the font size is too big.

Can someone tell me what d'bree is? Sure it's pronounced day-bree! Well it should be on the BBC!

I this the first time since they've launched that there's been programme specific branding on set?

Fantastic interview by the way. Very touching.

For some random reason, the UK feed did not soft opt at 0555 and switch to Breakfast this morning They stayed with Studio C at 0600.

At 0626, the UK feed faded to a filler after the bulletin outro and then rejoined Breakfast’s junction of handing over to regional news.

Was Breakfast delayed this morning? I don’t see any significant breaking news that warrants the 0600-0630 hour be dropped?
