Why is the D touching the edge of the circle? They can’t even get the most basic of graphics too look professional.

The 'T' in 'The' is not centrally aligned up with the 'T' in 'Today'?

Would be much better just having Maryam doing her own countdown to the programme.

Well, just as I expected, that looks f**king terrible.
It incorporates all of the modern BBC News branding elements:
- Red
- Circles
- Some kind of abstract sun motif
- Garish use of negative white space
- Font finish issues and inconsistency
- Overall forgettable styling

we were expecting it to be disappointed, its just a shame as BBC News Channel/BBC World News always use to have high standards of presentation, just very disappointing, such a shame.

MS paint is being kind. This is like a nine year old playing with templates on canva.
Everything’s already been said about Chris Cook’s deflated dreary pres but it still breaks your heart to see what they’ve done to what was the world’s best example of broadcasting in such a short time.
Should have saved some coin and got these out of the shed

Well I hope the editorial direction of the programme makes up for these dreary looking titles
At school they taught me how to be
So pure in thought and word and deed
They didn't quite succeed...

Your three caps there are arguably no better than what’s coming. Especially the first one.

My prediction on the presentation of The World Today.
New titles.
Everything else will be the same.
Which will then beg the question why has it taken so long to create this "new" programme?
Anyway I might be proved wrong, only time will tell.

It's interesting to see what it looks like when you have someone in charge who is clearly experienced, clearly understands certain aspects of production, and also has an appreciation for packages of old, and yet also just as clearly has a bad eye.
