I noticed that too. Do you think it could be an evening launch?
Possibly, maybe before Emmerdale or News at Six.
No changes to the other channels either- maybe they have delayed it after all…..

I think it's fairly obvious at this point that it's not happening today. We've had no indication of it happening other than the initial rumour from Clean Feed.
But again the relaunch could be unannounced before it actually happens, take BBC One's oneness and Channel 4's rebrand in 2015, both relaunches happened unannounced.

I’d be very surprised if it was an evening launch, I’ve never known a tv channel to rebrand in the middle of the day or on an evening personally… I think we can pretty much assume it’s not happening today… likelihood is it will probably change at the same time ITVX is released which looks like it will be towards end of this month if it’s still on track to. But we shall wait and see what happens. Like it’s been mentioned above, that’s even if it’s actually happening - it’s only been rumours so far and there hasn’t actually been any official confirmation from ITV that they are actually rebranding ITV to ITV1… it’s all just hearsay at the moment.

I don’t know whether I should say because it’s a private account now - Clean Feed said on Twitter that the rebrand has been delayed…

Rumour?
The information provided on Clean Feed is based on a presentation to ITV staff that took place in early October (made clear in the article on the site). At the presentation, 3rd November was stated as the intended launch date for the branding changes.
ITV did not circulate any of this information publicly.
As published on Clean Feed yesterday - and also mentioned on this forum - the planned changes have now been delayed until later in the month.

If it was never announced, why was it added to Wikipedia? There won't have been a valid source to cite.

Lots of ppl vandalise TV-related Wikipedia articles without citing a source… It’s annoying.

i edited it because the sources said it'd change on the 3rd, but it's gone too long to rollback by now

BBC One - 7pm in 1985
Channel 4 - 8pm in 2017
Channel 4 - 9pm in 2015
There may well be others.

There’s quite a few - Five did it with most of their rebrands during that era iirc, with actual showcases of the new look. It would be just before big US imports like Prison Break started on the channel. It makes sense as a method - wait until there’s a lot of eyes on the screen at prime time to be like “by the way, this is what we look like now.” etc. I don’t know if there’s anything on ITV tonight that would warrant that though.
