Something that was obviously not thought about is the positioning of the logo and the clock during the weather. I guess they noticed this while testing them, but during the weather sting (which appears in front so hides the clock) it is made smaller and shifted to the right to accommodate the weather graphics.

EDIT: This is also seen in the regions (or at least here for Calendar), as they animate the graphics off before the weather sponsor.

This is interesting. I wonder if the logo text was meant to be smaller so they could have a thinner strap and then decided to make everything bigger to accommodate the larger logo text in the final layout

Now that everything is uppercase the vast wasted space really stands out and would look a lot better if you had certain letters dropping lower down like before. Maybe this was another late change as they could have got away with a thinner strap with smaller logo and upper case letters but if the original plan was to have mixed case letters they would have needed that extra space on the straps

So is this UFC-style sting music new too?

Not necessarily a fitting piece of music if you're going to be talking about murderers of children next..

Sting itself is nice although I think it'd look nicer if it had those small coloured lines along the edges like with the blocks style

They just need a few tweaks, especially getting rid of the white text GMB logo which is unreadable without a background, not sure how that passed the testing stage.

From what I have managed to see so far on the computer watching on ITVX it looks good and seems to have polished up on the previous tweaks. I will see better when I get Home on The Big Screen. 

Maybe a Full Revamp could happen similar time as This Morning or April Next Year for the 10th Anniversary.
