Think that's the first time they've done more than a 1 year deal since Sky had exclusivity.

Can’t see it mentioned but Channel 4 has England vs Spain in the Men’s Under 21s European Championship final tomorrow.

Sport certainly doesn’t seem to be effected by cut backs.
Doesn’t seem to have had a UK broadcast partner apart from UEFA’s own platform otherwise.

And Channel 4 will also be showing the World Para-Athletics Championships via YouTube, starting Sunday

The British Championships will be on BBC Sport website/iPlayer all day Saturday and Sunday.

And S4C will broadcast coverage of the opening rounds of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying journeys of The New Saints and Penybont next week. Note the Penybont game is online only, but the TNS game is on actual TV as well.

PS I've just found out that the Europa Conference League will be known as just the UEFA Conference League from 2024-25.

Another note from the early rounds of European club qualifying is that there were some new graphics in the Champions League qualifying draws a few weeks ago. From what I recall, last year;s qualifying draws used the same graphics as the main competition, as do the recent UECL draws (albeit without proper animations just fading in and out). Not sure if the full screen graphic with the fixtures is just a graphic designed for the big screens or a hint of any potential new look, but the lower third is certainly completely different to what was used in the main competition. Not sure why they would launch a new look in the last year of the contract, but it looks possible.
There was also new titles, using the same starball stadium and sequence as before, but with Manchester City now naturally at the end.

Maybe I'm old school and YouTube generally is much more user friendly than C4's own streaming site but to me C4 showing the Para-athletics on YouTube is basically C4 not showing them at all. Are they even sending their own team to cover it?
Thought they might have stepped it up a bit one year out from the Paralympics and at least stuck it on More4. They don't even have their own Paralympics mini-site now (or Sport mini-site for that matter) which might flag they've coverage.
The C4 Streaming Service previously known as All4 really needs to sort out live streaming for next years games rather than hosting on a separate mini-site or YouTube. As they like to keep reminding us how many more people consume their content via streaming now having that content front and centre when you log in is probably going to reach more people than it being on YouTube, but only if you know it's on YouTube.

They do this with their motorsport coverage too. Would have no problem with them showing sport on YouTube as long as it was simulcast on one of their linear channels. Perhaps the rights are cheaper if they are online only.

BT Sport will show the US Major League Rugby final tomorrow night. The match looks to still be available for free on The Rugby Network, which has showed all games from the competition up to this point.
This will air against the second match of round of 1 of The Rugby Championship between Argentina and New Zealand on Sky Sports Action (South Africa v. Australia at 16:05 the first on the same channel.). I wonder if the Super Rugby graphics will be adjusted to be used across this competition, rather than using the ESPN/SuperSport/Stan/Sky NZ graphics as is usually the case?

I get why they might not want to give everything a linear slot but surely a pop-up stream on "All4" isn't too big an ask.
As for the World Para Athletics look like UK time they'd mainly be 8am-11am and 5.30pm-8.30pm which you'd think More4 at least could accomodate.

I mean, do repeats of A Place In The Sun, Come Dine With Me and Four in a Bed really rate that highly? A similar schedule is also on 4Seven most days.

Exactly - and if not More4 then they should use 4Seven for overspill sports coverage. As you say both have similar content.
