The Sport Thread - For stuff not worthy of a thread of its own

The FA Cup draw is at 7pm tonight on ITV 4, rather than as part of the ITV 1 programme. Think this might catch a few out.

Multi-eventers are rather useful analysts though. They have first hand experience of both sprints and certain field events

Announced this morning that talkSPORT will have coverage of the Olympic Games in Paris this summer, it is on a non-exclusive basis so fully expect it to be on BBC Radio 5 Live & Sports Extra, mentions on the press release that coverage will be allowed on Times Radio & Virgin Radio.

They of course have the age old radio sports problem that many big events are in weaker slots for Radio usage. The 100k final being on a Sunday night.

Wonder how much they will have on the main station might be continuous on talksport 2 and periods on talksport like they do with the away Test matches and Open Golf

Yes, but the way heptathletes run the 800m is different to how a 'stand alone' 800m is run

FA Cup quarter-final TV and kick-offs confirmed. The latest the plum Manchster United v. Liverpool could kick-off looks to be 3:30 - the PL fixture had the same start time.

First and last pick for ITV then. Guessing Man City v Newcastle was second pick given it gets the better slot.
