The New York Post reports that Al Michaels will not return as NBC/Peacock's secondary lead commentator during the NFL playoffs, with that position going to Noah Eagle.
To be honest, after listening to some of the Thursday Night Football broadcasts with Michaels this season, I am not surprised NBC have opted against bringing him back one last time. There isn't much enthusiasm or excitement as there use to be in his calls and you get the feeling that the end of his long and distinguished career could be near (similar to how Martin Tyler was in his last season with Sky in the UK).

There is also a vote today of NFL owners on increasing the number of overseas matches to at least eight per season.
