Not exactly American, but in Canada Mediapro's rights to broadcast Canadian soccer has been withdrawn. Mediapro own and operate the OneSoccer platform that streams CPL and Canadian national team games. Them and Candaian Soccer Business are now set to take their dispute to the Ontario Supreme Court, with both sides blaming each other for the breakdown.
I haven't been following it all that closely, but Canadian soccer has been a bit of a soap opera in the last 18 months, despite the men's team qualifying for the World Cup for the first time in many a year. There has been threats of strikes by national players and severe funding issues. On the other hand, Mediapro have also had some major issues in recent years, the most notable example was them giving up the rights to France's Ligue 1 after only four months after agreeing to pay an unaffordably high figure, plunging French teams in crisis into 2020.
