Can predict your argument here without seeing the link but frankly World Cup Cricket tournaments are now so frequent they're increasingly worthless. This tournament has completely passed people by, and not just because it's on Sky. It's been structured in a way that for the biggest nations at least the big games were few and far between until the latter stages.
Frankly when it comes to cricket the only conversation to be had when it comes to protecting events for free to air broadcast is in relation to The Ashes. Anything else is just a token gesture largely designed to keep The Ashes behind a paywall.
