Frankly when it comes to cricket the only conversation to be had when it comes to protecting events for free to air broadcast is in relation to The Ashes. Anything else is just a token gesture largely designed to keep The Ashes behind a paywall.
How can you predict my argument? If England get to the T20 world cup final it would be terrible that it was not available free to view in some way, they are not worthless, it may actually be the one thing a England team win this year
