That would have left two matches in Madrid on the same night, which isn't possible. They could have flipped one of the fixtures (i.e. Dortmund or Man City host the first leg) but that would cause controversy to alter the result of the random draw purely for non-sporting reasons.

Yep. A sports news website primarially. They have streamed quite a few rugby league matches on YouTube, especially from the Challenge Cup. Featherstone v. Wakefield in the Challenge Cup last weekend the most recent example. I think there is talk of a new format next year (possibly even group stages), so that could change the amount of coverage hopefully.
