Gary Lineker said on The Rest is Football that it's RTVE from Spain who are also in the same studio block as them - he was recounting that he got locked in the studio loo block ahead of the England v Denmark broadcast last week, and it was him and one of the Spaniards banging on the door and shouting to be let out!!

A fault on the HDR option on iPlayer tonight. Whilst it was labeled as Croatia v. Italy, it actually was showing Albania v. Spain. It has now been made temporarily unavailbale. Only the BBC One game has been made available in HDR on both evenings.

Tonight, BBC One is up on the roof with Gary Lineker at al, whilst Gabby Logan is on BBC Two indoors. So the studios are swapped from yesterday.

Albania v. Spain now officialy available in HDR, with only the standard quality available for Croatia v. Italy. Croatia v. Italy is still the Red Button alternative with 5 Live comms. Would be interesting to see if it is only one match availble in HDR, or if it's the BBC's decision to show one in HDR.

A tournament debut for Jonathan Pearce on BBC One tonight.

A notable simmering cacophony of car horns and cheering fans - fortunately largely muted, compared to the noises heard in Downing Street on certain news days - on the Euros Extra punditry on Red Button / iPlayer.

Have we seen Graeme Souness since the opening night on ITV?

If so, doubt we will see him again with Scotland now sadly eliminated.

ITV's England coverage tonightis starting at 18:45. I'm not sure why you wouldn't start it at 19:00 and allow the regional news to be unaffected and have a full 30 minute slot. Team news is usually released just before 1900, so that won't be published by the time they are actually on air.

All matches have at least 15-30 minutes more build up than they need. Essentially in ITV's case the ad rates even in the build up are higher than the norm so makes sense to get in at least one internal break in the 6pm hour within the coverage ratger than it likely being in the local news.

What is odd is that the regional news gets 20 minutes tonight but tomorrow despite Euro's coverage not beginning till 7.15pm the local news is only 10 minutes, with a 10 minute PEB slot then 55 minute Evening News slot from 6.20pm.

Australia have joined the Euros as well as Eurovision.

BBC Two's coverage using AUS on its scorebaord rather than AUT.

A bit of an odd schedule with the tennis on BBC Two finishing at 16:30, but the football beginning at 16:45, which meant there was another iteration of Coast in between. Why either weren't extended instaed of scheduling Coast I don't know.

The tennis finished earlier than scheduled and Coast was an addition to fill the gap.

The early build up from ITV meaning football coverage on BBC1, BBC2 and ITV at the same time for 25 minutes. Not sure if that's happened before.

And BBC2 had arguably one of the best games of the tournament so far.

ITV4's simulcasting ITV1's extended build-up (with all its focus on Southgate and co sniping with ex-players turned pundits) - presumably apart from comms they'll maintain the same Pres. Pougatch moving to the centre of their desk, too.

Have they even bothered to use their ground floor studio since their second game of the tournament?
