RTE gave the final to Darragh Moloney, ending a very long run of George Hamilton doing every World Cup and Euros final since at least Euro 88.

Not sure ITV will use him at Euro 2024.
They will, as the fuss will have long since died down.
The only way ITV will not consider using Gary Neville in 18 months time were if he were to enter "Ryan Giggs territory".
Neville’s an outspoken pundit/critic weekly for Sky Sports and ITV know that. His comments about Qatar were known prior to the tournament. I think this is the case that it is also well known that Neville’s politics don’t match those of the Daily Mail. (And I won’t go into that further, go elsewhere for that)
As said, unless he does something to get cancelled as it were, it’s probable he’s back on ITV for the next Euros.

Here's how Argentinian TV covered their squad's victory:
youtu.be
Worth noting that most national TV channels pre-empted all their programming (including their top billing Sunday night entertainment and variety shows, some of which were delayed for today or tomorrow). The state-owned TV Pública, which had FTA rights to the event, had a record-breaking 38.4% share (with peak of up to 40% during penalties) in the Greater Buenos Aires region, becoming the most watched TV programme in the country in 2022. Buoyed by these numbers, TVP, which is normally low-rated outside of big sporting events, managed to clinch the top place in ratings with 19.3%.
